Galerie De Zeemeermin

Hidden in the valley of the Aalsbeek in Steyl lies Galerie de Zeemeermin. It may have few square meters, but it celebrates an intense joy of art. Its little house dates back to before 1800 and has a rich history of craftsmanship and art: a potter, a cigar maker, and mid last century glazier Joep Nicolas and his wife, sculptor Suzanne Nys, who with their mermaid echo Ensor.

Here you will find art lending and annually four to five exhibitions.
