Ramen exhibition the Fantastische Maaswezens.
From June 1 to October 25 (end of autumn break), Visit Noord-Limburg, in collaboration with Basisschool de Weiert and Museum van Bommel van Dam, is organizing the window exhibition Fantastic Meuse Creatures.38 windows in Arcen are transformed into a colorful open-air museum. In these windows, you will find 'Meuse Creatures'.Meuse Creatures are fantasy animals, crafted by students of the Weiert (primary school of Arcen), which they imagine could live in the Meuse River.The 38 windows hiding the Meuse Creatures form a walking route, a kind of treasure hunt, that children and families can walk this summer and early autumn.Behind the windows of the Inaborgh, you will find Mermaid Fish Lizzy and Blobfish Jan, our Meuse Creatures. Score Jazz Orchestra
Ilja Reijngoud is een toonaangevende Nederlandse trombonist, componist, arrangeur en docent. Hij studeerde cum laude af aan het Hilversums Conservatorium en behaalde als tweede Nederlander een Master of Music in de Verenigde Staten. Reijngoud won diverse prestigieuze prijzen, waaronder de Edison Jazz Award (2009). Hij is vaste trombonist bij onder meer het Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw en werkte mee aan meer dan 100 albums. Onder eigen naam bracht hij 17 albums en vijf boeken uit. Reijngoud componeert en arrangeert voor grote orkesten en bigbands, is vaste arrangeur van Dennis van Aarssen en actief als docent en gastdocent aan diverse conservatoria wereldwijd.
