SeeĀing Sounds
With the exhibition Seeing Sounds, the museum van Bommel van Dam presents the work of four artists from different generations for whom music is inextricably linked to freedom - personal, political, and artistic. Sedje HĆ©mon, Sam Middleton, Dion Rosina, and Raafat Ballan demonstrate that music can be not only a subject but also a method and form of resistance. In their work, they intertwine musical elements such as composition, improvisation, sampling, and interplay to depict freedom, identity, and connection.
