Tentoonstelling

Step into a world full of wonder at the Mission Museum in Steyl. The natural history collection takes you through an impressive array of mounted mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. In the middle of the museum, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and lions immediately catch your eye, while the historical presentation takes you back to another time.

The insect cabinet is also worth a visit. Here you can admire thousands of tropical butterflies, beetles, spiders, and other insects that were once collected for science and education. One of the museum's most beloved residents is Joseph, a mechanical brown bear from 1932. For generations, he has amazed young and old with his remarkable tricks.

The natural history collection is part of the unique museum setup that has remained virtually unchanged since 1934. A special place where discovery, wonder, and history come together.
