Ramen exhibition the Fantastische Maaswezens.
From June 1 to October 25 (end of autumn break), Visit Noord-Limburg, in collaboration with Basisschool de Weiert and Museum van Bommel van Dam, is organizing the window exhibition Fantastic Meuse Creatures.38 windows in Arcen are transformed into a colorful open-air museum. In these windows, you will find 'Meuse Creatures'.Meuse Creatures are fantasy animals, crafted by students of the Weiert (primary school of Arcen), which they imagine could live in the Meuse River.The 38 windows hiding the Meuse Creatures form a walking route, a kind of treasure hunt, that children and families can walk this summer and early autumn.Behind the windows of the Inaborgh, you will find Mermaid Fish Lizzy and Blobfish Jan, our Meuse Creatures. Palmhöltje (Venlo)
De deelnemers aan de optocht in Venlo worden op 22 maart om 12.00 uur vóór de St-Martinus Basiliek verwacht.Diegene die het op prijs stelt, kan rond 11.45 uur, zijn palmhöltje in de Basiliek laten zegenen. Ter hoogte van het Ald Weishoés start de optocht om 12.00 uur onder muzikale begeleiding van Showorkest Harmonie Fortissimo en V.S.O. ’t Hetje zorgt voor de muzikale begeleiding in de kerk.De route start op de Grote Kerkstraat, Parade, Klaasstraat, Vleesstraat, achter langs het stadhuis naar de Markt waar het defilé wordt afgenomen door wethouder mevr. Marij Pollux en de voorzitter van Stichting Kinderfeesten Venlo. De deelnemende kinderen krijgen bij de ontbinding voor het Venlose stadhuis nog een traktatie aangeboden.
