In the creative Upper Room, children step into the mind of an artist, gather images from the collection, and create their own inspiration booklet. With the VBVD Activity Book, they explore the exhibitions in a playful way and learn to look at art differently. Be inspired by the works of artists like Yasser Ballemans, Sigrid Calon, and Pavèl van Houten and get creative yourself.

In the exhibition Seeing Sounds at the van Bommel van Dam museum, you will discover the work of four artists from different generations for whom music is more than a subject: it is a way to imagine freedom.Yet something remains unseen until you listen. Take a seat at one of the vinyl stations, browse, choose, listen, and experience how music changes your view on the artworks of Raafat Ballan, Sedje Hémon, Sam Middleton, and Dion Rosina. Festival Rijp!
