Walking route Maascorridor
Walk between the greenery, the Maas and be accompanied by the Galloway cattle. This 13 km route starts at Brasserie Sur Meuse. You can also easily park your car here. Walk from this spot towards the Maas and continue the walk on the footpath. This path is next to the Maas. Follow the route to the Stadsbrug in Venlo and walk back via the other side. A wonderful route along the water!

Stage of the Pieterpad
This route starts at the NS station of Venlo. Walk via the Jammerdal towards Tegelen. The route continues along the German border, with a beautiful view of the German forest area. The walk ends in the small village of Swalmen, on the market square in front of the church. A beautiful route through the forest, of 23 km.

This 9 km route starts at the church in Velden. Walk from the church towards the hamlet of Schandelo. The part you walk on the Maasveldweg provides a beautiful view of the Maas. A versatile route along the water, with beautiful views and landscapes. This route is definitely worth trying!

Tour around the Tang
Walking along the nature and history of Hout-Blerick
Start your walk at the St. Joseph Church (junction 71) and discover the diverse nature and culture of Hout-Blerick. The route leads you along the Springbeek and takes you to the Tangkoel, an idyllic nature reserve with a historic pond where otters have been spotted in the past and water lilies bloom in the summer.
Along the way you pass the historic Watermeule and walk along the Maas bank and the quiet countryside. The walk ends again in the charming Hout-Blerick. A perfect combination of nature, water and history!

The organization Weir Venloop has been organizing the Neptunus Walk for a number of years. This year, the walk will take place on Saturday, September 18. As a walker, you can choose a route of 10, 20 or 30 kilometers or a marathon. They also offer a route of 7.5 km. Weir Venloop wants to prepare everyone as well as possible for the walk.
