“I have been working at Seacon Logistics since January 2023, and since January 2024, I have been in the role of manager of supply chain engineering. Supply chain management involves the strategic directing, integrating, optimizing, and (re)designing of logistics chains. From start to finish. At Seacon, we connect all goods and information flows to fully relieve our clients. My team focuses on improving and optimizing various logistics processes. Additionally, we research and implement new innovations. As a manager, I lead the department, but I am also involved in the content of various projects.

I happened to end up in the logistics sector. While some people have a knack for languages, I have a knack for numbers. I can apply that in various sectors. Previously, I worked at a bank and a healthcare organization. I am from Hout-Blerick and studied in Tilburg. I had a wonderful time there, but I knew during my studies that I ultimately wanted to return to Venlo. I love action and tackling challenges, and I can do that in the dynamic job I have now.

My husband and I recently became parents to a baby girl. I enjoy going out with the stroller to walk in one of the many parks in Venlo. We currently live close to the city center of Venlo, but soon we will be moving to Hout-Blerick. Still in the municipality of Venlo and still close to my work. Here in Venlo, I have everything I can find in a big city, but cozier and more compact. It's pleasant here, Burgundian, and everything is nearby.”
