"The true light that enlightens everyone and came into the world. The morning light that shines through the stained glass windows, but also the pink and blue sisters from the Sacred Heart Monastery in Steyl who can be the light for many people but also for the world."

"The curiosity about what happens behind the high walls of the monastery has long been on my mind as a girl from Venlo. The way of life, the other side of the large colored windows that illuminate the corridors, and of course the people who still make this all possible, the sisters themselves."

"I was allowed to create this photo report for Venloverlicht, an open-air exhibition presented in the city center of Venlo, Arcen, and Steyl. Together with many other artists, we present our work until February. My photos can be seen in Steyl.
