Greekbaer

Since 2026, a statue of Greekbaer, over four meters tall, has stood on the Maaskade. The grumbling bear is a creation of the Venlo drawing collective Usake Wok and has grown into a true Venlo phenomenon through Instagram. With its surly gaze and typical sayings, Greekbaer represents the Venlo art of näöle, but above all, self-mockery and humor. A recognizable piece of Venlo and a striking spot for a photo.
