It's not difficult at all to contribute to a sustainable world, especially not in Venlo! Sustainability is much more than 'just' solar panels and wind turbines. In the city center of Venlo, there are wonderful places making their contribution! So much so that we have mapped out a sustainable route for you.

1. Helemaal jij
For 2.5 years, Venlo has been home to a trendy preloved fashion store on the Kwartelenmarkt. Here you'll find no dusty vintage, but contemporary second-hand fashion from beautiful brands in like-new condition.
The owner and face behind the business operates from her heart: "We strictly select clothing that our contributors no longer wear based on current trends and quality. 70% of the contributors immediately reinvest their earnings in sustainable fashion in our store. What remains is donated to the Clothing Bank, and we also recycle our shoppers."
This way, beautiful clothing remains affordable for everyone, resources are saved, and nothing ends up in the waste stream. A store that empowers everyone and an essential stop on your green route through the city center!

Located at the cozy Oude Markt, you'll find Mocca, one of Venlo's most defining and pioneering establishments in sustainable hospitality. Here, visitors come in for a delicious, consciously brewed cup of coffee and a glimpse into the kitchen of a hospitality establishment that prioritizes sustainability, innovation, and quality. 4. Atelier Moeëj gemak
At Kwietheuvel, you will find Atelier Moeëj gemak, a unique creative day activity center where sustainability and social impact go hand in hand.
In this studio, creators with intellectual disabilities make the most beautiful new products from recycled jeans. Old denim gets a stylish second life here, while the participants fulfill a full and valued role in society. At Grote Kerkstraat 19, you will find the antiquarian bookstore 't Boekhuis, the only remaining antiquarian bookstore in the far vicinity that attracts visitors from near and far.
