From September 1, brasserie Alt Arce in Arcen is temporarily closed. Extensive work is being carried out on the flood defense to better protect the area from high water. Part of the building is being demolished and rebuilt with a glass barrier inside.

During the renovation, visitors can visit restaurant Sjef. The expected reopening of Alt Arce is in the spring of 2027.
