Heilig Hart Klooster

From the monastery village of Steyl, hundreds of sisters, priests, and brothers departed to all parts of the world. Now that the focus of all activities has shifted to other continents, the monastery village has become a quiet place where history is tangible, an oasis that invites reflection and meditation.
 

The monastery of the Sacred Heart is the motherhouse of the missionary sisters worldwide. Currently, about 75 sisters live here, many of whom are spending their twilight years at this place after long years of dedication in countries overseas or in Europe. The sisters also receive many groups of people from near and far for reflection, tours, etc.
