Het Ketelhuis

Parkstraat 32, 5935 BM, Steyl, Netherlands

In the former Mission House St. Michael in Steyl, you can get acquainted with the steam boilers that were once used to generate electricity for three monasteries and the printing house of the monastery village.

Discover the impressive steam boilers in the recently renovated historic building that has been completely restored to its old style. In the large hall, there is the steam engine that still operates during tours and open days, and in the cellars, there is a unique exhibition about monastery professions from bygone times.

There are a number of open days per year, and monthly tours are given by appointment. Check the website of the Ketelhuis for more information!
