Jochumhof

Father Peter Jochum is the namesake of the beautiful botanical garden in the heart of the monastic village of Steyl: Jochumhof. The flora and fauna in the garden originate from plant seeds collected from all over the world by missionaries and have flourished in Steyl. The Giant Sequoia is one of the most striking of these unusual additions. The presence of an herb garden, native garden, Mediterranean greenhouse, scent garden, and rock garden make a visit to Jochumhof a sensory experience.
