De Verborgen Tuin

Hidden in the greenery lies The Hidden Garden: an atmospheric garden of over 4,500 m² with a rich history. Over 60 years ago, the first tree was planted, and since then the garden has grown into a hidden paradise for every garden enthusiast. Since 2016, the garden has been lovingly and respectfully maintained by Johan Spee and Rianne Remkes, who have made it their own place and reopened the garden to the public.

Stroll along flowers, special trees, and surprising plants and discover the stories behind them through our QR code posts. For children, there is a fun, educational scavenger hunt with a small surprise at the end for those who have paid close attention.

Take the time to settle down with a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy homemade pastries, prepared with love and, where possible, ingredients from our own garden. In the small shop, you will also find our own plants and artisanal products to take home.

Practical

• Open: May to August during open garden days & every Thursday afternoon
• Groups of 10 or more: by appointment
• Entrance: €3.50 (incl. coffee or tea)
• Children (accompanied): free
• Dogs: welcome on a leash
