Floddergats
A time machine to unforgettable Venlo! The centuries-old Keizerstraat, popularly called Floddergats, once transformed into a mud pool with a splash of rain. This impressive street, between Dominicanenplein and Parade, can be explored on foot or by bicycle.
Legend has it that even Napoleon walked here, away from the cheers of Parade. His lost horseshoe gave the street its name; The Keizerstraat. Along the Floddergats, you can discover artworks by Ger Janssen, depicting characters and dialect songs with humor, all in the Venlo dialect.
A street full of history, art, and legends waits to be explored. Let yourself be enchanted by Floddergats.
