Score Jazz Orchestra

Ilja Reijngoud is een toonaangevende Nederlandse trombonist, componist, arrangeur en docent. Hij studeerde cum laude af aan het Hilversums Conservatorium en behaalde als tweede Nederlander een Master of Music in de Verenigde Staten. Reijngoud won diverse prestigieuze prijzen, waaronder de Edison Jazz Award (2009). Hij is vaste trombonist bij onder meer het Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw en werkte mee aan meer dan 100 albums. Onder eigen naam bracht hij 17 albums en vijf boeken uit. Reijngoud componeert en arrangeert voor grote orkesten en bigbands, is vaste arrangeur van Dennis van Aarssen en actief als docent en gastdocent aan diverse conservatoria wereldwijd.

Let op: de voorverkoop voor The Scene begint op vrijdag 21 november om 09:00 via deze pagina.  Na tien jaar stilte is The Scene terug. De legendarische band achter Nederlandstalige rock klassiekers als Blauw, Iedereen is van de wereld en Open staat in 2026 weer op het podium met de originele bandleden en een nieuwe, krachtige stem in de frontlinie: Syb van der Ploeg (De Kast). Sinds het afscheid van frontman Thé Lau in 2014 en zijn overlijden in 2015 leek het boek gesloten. Maar de muzikale chemie tussen de bandleden bleef intact. De vonk is terug, de urgentie voelbaar.

New Cool Collective

It all begins in 1993 in the Amsterdam Soul Kitchen, where Benjamin Herman and DJ Graham B take the stage together. While Graham B spins records, Benjamin plays. A unique combination. Eventually, this leads to the eight-piece New Cool Collective, with which the band has played countless times in leading clubs and festivals around the world, either in the regular 8-piece lineup or as a 19-piece big band. Additionally, New Cool Collective previously collaborated with the likes of Tony Allen, Mapacha Africa, Andrew Roachford, Jules Deelder, Typhoon, Guus Meeuwis, Matt Bianco, Thierno Koité, and Georgie Fame. Meanwhile, the creative engine is running at full throttle; the passion undiminished, and New Cool Collective is working on new material. Keep an eye out!
